Service Designer

Position: Service Designer

Location: London (Flexible/Remote options available)

About the Role: As a Service Designer at Experience Dynamics, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the end-to-end customer journey for our clients. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, leveraging your systems thinking skills and strategic mindset to create seamless and impactful service experiences. From ideation to implementation, you will guide projects that redefine how our clients engage with their customers, ensuring every touchpoint is optimized for user satisfaction and business success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive research to understand user needs, pain points, and behaviors across different touchpoints.
  • Work collaboratively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define service blueprints and customer journey maps.
  • Ideate and prototype innovative service concepts, integrating both digital and physical components.
  • Drive design workshops, user testing sessions, and co-creation activities to refine and validate service concepts.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers, strategists, and developers to ensure seamless integration of service design into digital interfaces.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to enhance user experiences and business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in service design and user experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Service Design, Interaction Design, UX Design, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as a Service Designer or in a closely related role.
  • Proficiency in Service Design methods, mindsets, and toolkits.
  • Strong skills in creating service blueprints, customer journey maps, and other relevant design artifacts.
  • Experience with service prototyping tools, intangible interface testing, and interaction design (a plus).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within cross-functional teams and engage with clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Portfolio showcasing your service design work and problem-solving skills.

Interaction Designer

Location: New York (Flexible/Remote options available)

About the Role: As an Interaction Designer at Experience Dynamics, you will be at the forefront of crafting intuitive and engaging digital experiences that resonate with users. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, using your deep understanding of user behavior, design principles, and emerging technologies to create interfaces that seamlessly blend functionality with aesthetics. Your work will drive the success of our clients by ensuring their products and services are not only visually appealing but also highly usable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with UX researchers, product managers, and visual designers to understand user needs, business requirements, and project goals.
  • Design wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and user interactions.
  • Develop and maintain design systems and guidelines to ensure consistency and coherence across digital interfaces.
  • Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate on designs and enhance the overall user experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in interaction design and user experience.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications and interactions.
  • Provide creative solutions to design challenges while considering technical constraints and business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interaction Design, UX Design, HCI, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience as an Interaction Designer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, InVision, etc.
  • Solid understanding of human-centered design principles and best practices for creating interactive experiences.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital projects and your ability to solve complex design problems.
  • Excellent communication skills to present design ideas and collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
