Sept 1st 2016: PR Daily awards Mobility International USA (MIUSA) Nonprofit PR Award for best website for 2016, recognizing Experience Dynamics role in the site. Experience Dynamics partnered with MIUSA to define User Experience strategy, Design, Development, Localization and Accessibility testing for the Global Disability Rights Now! website. The site launched in Spring of 2016, and disability rights organizations worldwide have received it well. The site provides content and translations in multiple languages for countries including Mexico, Vietnam, Armenia and Kenya.
“Working closely with MIUSA on this project aligned with our experience and values serving the disability community and disability rights,” said Alison Gavine, Managing Partner at Experience Dynamics. The website contributes to the promotion of disability rights and accessibility at all levels of society, worldwide. “We factored in a multi-cultural audience from the get go. The emphasis was on encouraging action with information as well as contribution and a feeling of inclusion, critical to the site’s message”, said Frank Spillers, lead UX delivery at Experience Dynamics. Experience Dynamics focused on ease of use, as well as accessibility best practices. This combined with a design and development strategy that is responsive, promoting multi-device access in low-bandwith environments.
Experience Dynamics works extensively with non-profit and government organizations. A case study of the Global Disability Rights Now! website developed for MIUSA as well as more non-profit case studies can be found here.
