The Story

Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate provides contractors, developers, and property managers with the most complete solution for managing the entire project or property lifecycle.

The Challenge

Sage needed to streamline and simplify their app to improve usability. The web app had a lot functionality and uses and the interface was overly complicated and hard to navigate.

The Strategy

The strategy for the web app redesign was to focus on streamlining the interface and building a more intuitive, process-focused user experience.

This meant understanding the use of the different screens and simplifying the steps and choices for the end user. Experience Dynamics also worked on standardizing everything across the app to make the experience simpler for users.

The Turning Point

Developing a prioritized approach was a key turning point in this redesign.

Experience Dynamics helped the Sage team identify the screens that would have the biggest impact on improving the software’s usability. This prioritization was key to the success of this rapid re-design.

The Execution

After identifying the low hanging fruit, where our redesign could have the biggest impact on their UI, Experience Dynamics created a style guide to help drive the redesign process. Between designing cleaner, more intuitive paths for the users and building a standard for the brand moving forward, we helped elevate Sage’s offering.
