Usability Engineering Tips and Tricks for Beginners
Usability is commonly thought of as the art and science of making things easy to use. What is behind the science of usability? How do we know when something is easy, easy to learn and satisfying? Why is usability so important for any product, website, software or web application (including Rich Internet Applications)?

Topic:
Usability involves a methodology, an approach and a set of techniques. Products that harness the secrets of usability engineering are better positioned for success. Why is this? What happens when product management includes usability, and what happens when usability is brushed over?.

Join us as we explore the topic of usability, explaining the fundamentals of what usability is, why it’s important and how you can benefit from it. In this seminar we will share proven tricks from Cognitive Science and tested tips from the “usability trenches” for making products easy to use.

We will look at case studies and hard data on usability and its role in product management and development culture.
